• Pick night vision and a wide angle for a gate camera.
• Check cable routes, since replacing a cable under a driveway is costly.
• Place the outdoor unit out of direct sun and rain.

UAE conditions

Outdoor stations face sun, dust and humidity. Choose sealed, weather rated models and keep the camera lens clean. Screens near a window can wash out in glare, so place monitors with care.

Common faults

A dead outdoor station is often a power or cable fault. No picture or no sound points to the camera, the wiring or the monitor. What to prepare

Note how many people live or work at the site and who should answer calls. Share the distance from the gate to the house, the type of gate and any existing wiring. Photos of the entrance, gate post and control box help us plan the survey.
