If a gate has been extended or clad since the operator was installed, it may now exceed the original capacity and the operator would need to be reviewed.

We inspect rails or tracks, rollers, guide wheels, rack and pinion, fixings and stops. We clear debris from the track, lubricate the moving parts, test the release and review limit settings. On the electrical side we check supply, board, encoder, photocells and edges, and run several cycles with an obstruction test.

Yards collect dust and grit, so the track and rollers often need the most attention.

Clear vehicles from the gate path and note exactly what the gate does when it fails, and when. Photos of the operator, label and control box help us identify the model. Have the remotes and any keypads available.
